This piece best demonstrates my drawing ability and how I am able to create a believable drawing. I used my knowledge of shading to help give the objects in the piece form and a sense of space. I was challenged by this composition because there were a lot of reflective, curved surfaces so I had to work a lot with the highlights and perspective to make the reflections believable. To create the detail of the wood grain on the chair, I worked a lot with my knowledge of line to help create the texture. It is through my use of all these techniques and attention to detail that I feel this piece best demonstrates my drawing ability.
